#46: Enermax Modu87+ Power Supply Review

This is truly a Brilliant power supply. It might not be for everyone as it's not the cheapest power supply out there, but it is diffinately a must for all computer enthousiasts. The two 8pin CPU power cables and the total of six 6+2pin PCI-E power connetions really show that. But that's not all, the Modu87+ also has a very good efficiency and it also features 'ErP Lot 6' which means that the power supply wastes a lot less (almost none) power while in stand by mode.

Pros:

• Good looks;
• 80Plus Gold certified (87-93% efficiency);
• Two 8pin CPU power connections;
• Six 6+2pin PCI-E power connections;
• Modular;
• HeatGuard (Fan keeps spinning for a while after your PC shuts down);
• Quiet.

Cons:

• It would've been nice if these were available in higher wattages;
• Some people might find these expensive.
